General requirements & drivers qualifications
All our rental rates always include FULL INSURANCE with 100% coverage.There is NO self risk, NO deposit required, and NO hidden extra costs, so you can enjoy your trip in Crete with complete peace of mind.
Included Insurance Coverage:
- FDW: Full Damage Waiver Insurance with ZERO EXCESS
- WUG: Insurance for wheels, tires, underside of the car, and glass/windscreens with ZERO EXCESS
- CDW: Collision Damage Waiver with ZERO EXCESS
- TP: Theft Protection with ZERO EXCESS
- PAI: Personal Accident Insurance with ZERO EXCESS
- PL: Public Liability Insurance with ZERO EXCESS
- FI: Fire Insurance with ZERO EXCESS
What else is included:
- VAT 24% and all local taxes (included in the price)
- Unlimited kilometers
- 24-hour road assistance all over the island of Crete
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival
All drivers must have a valid Driving License for at least 2 years.
Driving Licenses issued in EU, US, UK, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Israel, Russia, and Ukraine are accepted.
An International Driving License is required in all other cases.
Driver must be 23+ years old, with driver’s license held for a minimum of 24 months, for car groups A, B, C.
For all other car groups, driver must be 27+ years old, with driver’s license held for at least 24 months.
Only the person who has signed the rental can drive the car. Otherwise, the insurance does not cover the customer.
If there are other people who wish to drive the car, they must sign the contract too, as additional drivers.
The maximum number of additional drivers is 3. For a 2nd driver, there is an extra cost of 2 euros per day.
